Johnny Newman's "The Throne" is the 1st single released from the upcoming album The Great Mistrial. This track depicts the Apostle John's vision of the throne in Heaven in Revelation 4 with the powerful "Holy Holy Holy" chorus.
“Come up here, and I will show what must take place after this.” At once I was in the Spirit. Behold a throne stood in Heav’n! Before the throne were twenty-four. Clothed in white with golden crowns! Behold! From the throne came lightning, thunder, seven torches — seven spirits. Four creatures with six wings, full of eyes — around, within. Holy, holy, holy, is God Almighty, who was, and is, and is to come! They never cease to say — Holy, holy, holy, is God Almighty, who was, and is, and is to come! Twenty-four fall down before He who sits on the throne.
